1.Composition of friction forklift clutch

The friction clutch is the most widely used and the oldest type of clutch. It’s basically composed of four parts: the driving part, driven part, the pressing and operating mechanism. Stepping on the clutch pedal during the separation process first eliminates the clutch free clearance in the free stroke. In the joining process, gradually loosen the clutch pedal, the pressure plate moves forward under the action of the spring. 2.Working principle of friction forklift clutch

The flywheel is the clutch driving part, the clutch plate and driven disc hub are connected to the input shaft by sliding splines. The compression spring presses the clutch disc on the flywheel, the engine torque relies on the friction between the flywheel and clutch disc, which is transferred from the flywheel to the clutch disc, and then gearbox, finally to the wheels.

The clutch cover and disc should always be joined to transfer power. The driver stepped on the clutch pedal. the fork stuck in the drum ring groove of the clutch disc pushes the clutch disc to move to the right. The driven plate is separated from the flywheel to cut off the power transmission. Slowly release the pedal, so that the clutch disc and flywheel gradually joined, can restore power transmission.
